Alaska

We’ve been working in this large, rugged, and beautiful state (it is one-third the size of the continental US) for nearly twenty years.  

Join us in Fairbanks where we host many teams doing ministry among indigenous people, and where the a town called the “North Pole” is a short drive away.

Join us further south in Ketchikan, where the theme is "From the Last Frontier to the Nations" where we focus on mobilizing Alaska Natives into missions and connect them with Koreans, Tibetans and Mongolians. 

 

 

Idaho

One of the fastest growing states of the union due to great weather, natural beauty and an abundance of potatoes! YWAM has two bases of in this beautiful state whose motto is “Let It be Perpetual.”

Join us near the capital city of Boise in the gorgeous Cascade mountains for frontier- focused discipleship training and outreach that includes back-packing, apostolic pioneering, applied biblical studies and an emphasis on reaching the peoples of India.

Join us in Kamiah on the Nez Perce Indian reservation for vital ministry to Native peoples, church ministries, evangelism and reaching aboriginal people around the world. 

 

 

 Montana

This is America’s fourth largest state with big blue skies and plenty of room to roam! We can truly use the word “base” for a major YWAM location in Montana because we purchased a former United States Air Force base near Flathead Lake (the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi) and turned it into a training base of missions.

Join us at Lakeside at one of YWAM’s largest training centers in North America where our large campus focuses on missions training and the use of sports and the arts in ministry. YWAM Lakeside has a special interest in sending missionaries and teams to Thailand, Nepal, Ukraine, India and Taiwan.

Join Mission Builders International, a YWAM support ministry that places volunteers from around the world to use their life skills in serving YWAM missionaries and ministries (building, painting, cleaning, cooking, etc.)

Join YWAM Tribal Waves that engages in vital ministry on the Flathead Indian reservation in Polson, with special emphasis on First Nations peoples, Pacific Islanders, and the Flathead Nation.

 

Oregon

We have been in the Oregon Territory since the mid-seventies and have two great ministries that operate in the territory that Thomas Jefferson purchased from Spain in 1803 for fifteen million dollars. Oregon combines a beautiful Pacific coastline with rich agricultural land and bustling cities and towns.

Join us at Loom International which networks people and resources on behalf of YWAM ministries to women and children at risk around the world. Nations of special emphasis include Zimbabwe, Uganda, Costa Rica, Mail and India.

Join us at YWAM Bend located in beautiful central Oregon. We are a group of hearty pioneers who want to empower communities with cultural sustainability all over the world through providing spiritual and physical food, shelter, tools, and power to those for whom Christ died.  

Join us at YWAM Canby is located on the historic grounds of Canby Grove Christian Center, just south of Portland, in partnership with Jump-In Northwest Ministries. Our base focuses on famly, prayer, prophesy, and orphan care and runs an Arise DTS in the fall and spring 

Join us a YWAM Salem, a serene training campus outside Oregon’s capital city that  houses numerous training schools, a Korean DTS, Mission Adventures, NIKO (survival training), a ropes course and focus on Tibetans, Azerbaijan, Myanmar (Burma) and Sudan. 

 

Washington

Our work in the northwest corner of the country began in the mid-seventies and contains a number of ministries that are scattered around Seattle and the Puget Sound region.

Join us at New Beginnings Home, a family-style shelter for pregnant women needing housing. The home is located in Puyallup and includes House of Hope and Welcome HomeHouse of Hope provides housing and discipleship for women who've adopted out their baby. Welcome Home is a house for a single mother who is being discipled.

Join us at YWAM Adoption Ministry, also located in Puyallup, Washington which also facilitates adoptions to Christian families at no charge to either the adoptive family or birth family.  They have a presence in Ethiopia running orphanages, equipping single parent households to lift them out of poverty, and a growing outreach to Muslims.

Join us at Destination Paradise which began on Whidby Island, uses boats in the Caribbean and currently runs a training facility in the country of Belize.

Join us at YWAM Discovery Bay,  a beautiful thirteen acre property on the water near Port Townsend which was originally a Holiness Camp. YWAM DB runs various schools and supports missionaries and teams in China, India and Thailand.

Join Global Initiatives in Tacoma which connects businesses and resources to empower people in the Majority World.

Join us at YWAM North Cascades, located in Lynden, a thriving Dutch community near Bellingham, WA which is near the Canadian border. We are operating in a part of historic downtown Lynden which includes the community's iconic windmill. We are committed to reaching and mobilizing the Millennial generation.

Join YWAM in Monroe (AIIM-Pneuma Springs) where the winds of the Holy Spirit flow through a beautiful lodge and Korean-based ministry with a focus on North Korea and Northeast Asia (Mongolia, China, Eastern Russia, and Japan).

Join YWAM Port Orchard, our Northwest office, which focuses on American renewal via prayer and revival projects, Gleanings for the Needy, and missional outreach in the Gambia-West Africa and Mongolia.

Join YWAM Publishing in Edmonds which distributes books and materials on missions both in the United States and around the world.

Join us in Yelm, WA where our Faith Harvest Helpers mission is to feed hungry people physically and spiritually, by gleaning, processing, and distributing donated surplus food and goods both locally and around the world. Our products include produce, bread, and canned salmon as a protein supplement.

 

Wyoming

This is ground zero for Cowboy Country in America, and so it’s no coincidence that YWAM operates “Cowboys With A Mission” in this scenic, frontier state.

Join the “missions rodeo” near Cody where YWAM has a property dedicated to training ranchers and rodeo people from around the world and Native Americans in the US West.
